New Flyer XE40 Speedometer Illumination
New Flyer is recalling 2022 XE40 transit buses with speedometers that may not illuminate with headlights on.
What to do
Contact New Flyer of America, Inc. immediately to schedule service to repair or replace the speedometer illumination system. Do not operate the vehicle at night or with headlights on until the repair is completed.
Why it was recalled
An unlit speedometer cannot show the vehicle's speed, increasing the risk of a crash.
