Contact New Flyer of America, Inc. immediately to schedule service to repair or replace the speedometer illumination system. Do not operate the vehicle at night or with headlights on until the repair is completed.

Why it was recalled
New Flyer is recalling certain 2022 XE40 transit buses because the speedometer may fail to illuminate when headlights are turned on, making it impossible for drivers to see vehicle speed and increasing crash risk. The vehicles do not comply with FMVSS 101 (Controls and Displays).
