Nova Bus LFS (2022-2024) and Nova Bus LFS Artic (2023-2024)

The coolant sensor in Nova Bus LFS Artic and LFS buses can send a false signal, causing the engine to shut down and increasing crash risk.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. is recalling certain 2023-2024 LFS Artic and 2022-2024 LFS buses. The recall affects 928 vehicles nationwide and was reported to NHTSA on September 3, 2026. An unexpected engine shut down can increase the risk of a crash, and transferring passengers from the disabled bus can increase the risk of injury.

The recall supersedes Recall 24V873. Vehicles repaired under the previous recall will need the new repair completed. Nova Bus will inspect and replace the coolant sensor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 2, 2026.
