Peterbilt 579 and Kenworth T680 Air Brake Valve
PACCAR is recalling certain 2026-2027 Peterbilt 579 and 2027 Kenworth T680 tractors due to an incorrectly installed air brake valve.

Why it was recalled
PACCAR is recalling certain 2026-2027 Peterbilt 579 and 2027 Kenworth T680 tractors because the trailer air connection quick release valve in the air brake system may have been incorrectly installed. This condition can cause trailer instability during braking and fails to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121. The recall is distributed nationwide.
