Setra S417 and S407 Dashboard Switch Illumination
Daimler Coaches is recalling 2009–2020 Setra S417 and 2012–2019 S407 buses due to dashboard switch illumination failures that may distract drivers.

Why it was recalled
Daimler Coaches is recalling certain 2009–2020 Setra S417 and 2012–2019 Setra S407 buses. The switches for hazard warning lights, defroster, heating and air conditioning, and fan speed may fail to illuminate correctly or become too bright, distracting the driver and increasing crash risk. These vehicles fail to comply with FMVSS 101 (Control and Displays).
