What happened

Shyft Group is recalling certain 2024-2027 Spartan RV Chassis K2 vehicles. The remote fuel filter hoses may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.

The recall affects 373 vehicles nationwide. The issue was reported to NHTSA on October 15, 2026. Cummins will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 20, 2026.
