
Volkswagen Taos Fuel Pressure Sensor
Volkswagen is recalling 2025–2026 Taos vehicles; fuel pressure sensor may dislodge in a crash, causing fuel leakage and fire risk.
Stop driving the vehicle and contact Volkswagen immediately to schedule a service appointment. Do not operate the vehicle until the fuel pressure sensor has been inspected and replaced if necessary.
Why it was recalled
Volkswagen is recalling certain 2025–2026 Taos vehicles because the fuel pressure sensor may dislodge or separate from the fuel tank during a rear-end crash, causing fuel leakage and increasing fire risk. The vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 301 (Fuel System Integrity).
