What happened
Wanli Tire Corporation is recalling certain Aptany Eco Sendero M/T2 tires, size LT265/75R16, because the sidewall may separate. This failure to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles," can cause tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
The recall, reported to NHTSA on January 7, 2026, affects 638 tires distributed nationwide. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 20, 2026.
Wanli will reimburse owners for the retail price of the recalled tires and for installation of new tires.
