What happened
Wheel Pros, LLC is recalling certain Avix TrailTek RT tires, size 35X12.50R20LT, because the tire sidewall may be incorrectly labeled "Not for Highway Use." As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Incorrectly labeled tires may increase the risk of a crash. The recall affects 549 tires and was reported to NHTSA on September 10, 2026.
The tires were distributed nationwide. Wheel Pros replaced the tires, free of charge. All affected tires have been replaced.
