What happened

Winnebago Towable is recalling certain 2026 Access travel trailers because the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) may not be listed on the certification label. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification." Missing weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall affects 100 vehicles and was reported to NHTSA on January 29, 2026. The trailers are distributed nationwide.

Dealers or owners will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2026.
