What happened

Shenzhen Weichaoda Technology Co., Ltd., dba CSZWEICD, is recalling about 800 Gavoyeat Halloween Light-Up Rings Party Favors because the battery compartment within the LED light ring contains button cell batteries that can be easily accessed by children. When swallowed, the batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death. No incidents have been reported.

The recalled light-up rings, model number 43398-68657, were sold on Amazon.com from June 2025 through January 2026 for about $15. The rings come with 50 multi-colored party favors that light up, each including three preinstalled button cell batteries. The batteries are visible through the inner clear casing, and the package back has "Holiday Party Favors LED Light Up Ring" printed on it.

Consumers should take the recalled light-up rings from children, stop using them immediately, and remove and properly dispose of the batteries by following local hazardous waste procedures. A refund is being offered.
