Why it was recalled
Fisher & Paykel is recalling 20+ models of 30, 36, and 48-inch free-standing gas ranges due to a delayed ignition defect that can cause the oven door to open from combustion, posing a burn hazard. The affected units were sold nationwide and include various RGV3 series models with serial numbers starting with EEV, ERV, EAV, EYV, EUV, ELV, or RFV.
