What happened
Jichehui Electronics Co. Ltd., dba TecFlox, is recalling about 900 TecFlox Hair and Beard Growth Serum Bottles because the bottles are not child-resistant, violating the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The serum contains minoxidil, which must be in child-resistant packaging. If a young child swallows the contents, there is a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning. No incidents have been reported. The recall was announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on April 2, 2026.
The recalled product is a topical solution in white plastic bottles with a white nozzle, sold in packs of four. The label reads "TecFlox Minoxidil Topical Solution" and the underside of the bottle has the manufacture date "MFD 2025.8.25". The bottles were sold on Amazon.com in October 2025 for about $30. The product was made in China.
Consumers should immediately secure the recalled serum bottles out of sight and reach of children and contact TecFlox to receive free replacement serum bottles, including shipping. Only bottles with serum remaining will be replaced.
