Why it was recalled
These multi-purpose children's helmets fail to meet federal safety standards for impact attenuation, positional stability, labeling, and certification. The affected helmets were sold in size medium (M), fitting head circumferences of 20.5 to 22.8 inches, and are available in orange, black, blue, navy blue, pink, red, and white. They feature black padding, black straps, a black buckle, and a black plastic adjustment knob at the back.
