OCOOPA recalls 1.5M rechargeable hand warmers over fire and burn risk; one death reported.
Immediately stop using the recalled hand warmers, remove them from any flammable surfaces, and contact OCOOPA Direct for a full refund. Do not throw the hand warmers in the trash; follow local battery disposal guidelines. To receive a refund, you must provide the model number and batch number from the underside of the warmer. OCOOPA is recalling 1.5 million rechargeable lithium-ion battery hand warmers because the battery can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards that have resulted in one death.
