What happened
OKK Trading, Inc., of Vernon, California, is recalling Easter LED Headbands because the lithium coin batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. When swallowed, the batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death. No incidents have been reported. About 25,200 units are affected, and the headbands were made in China.
The recalled headbands include Model 46310, available in white, light pink, dark pink, turquoise, purple and red, with felt multicolor polka dots on the ears, and Model 46309, available in white, light pink, turquoise and purple, with fluffy ears and light fur along the band. Each headband is packaged in a clear plastic bag labeled "Item#46310" or "Item#46309" and "OKK Trading, Inc."
They were sold at retail dollar stores and gift stores mostly in California, Texas and Arizona from November 2023 through April 2026 for between $1 and $2.
Consumers should stop using the Easter LED Headbands immediately and contact OKK Trading for a refund. Button cell batteries are hazardous, and batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.
