What happened
International Trade Imports LLC (The Ricky Joy Company), dba Ricky Joy, of Cumming, Georgia, is recalling about 2.3 million Ricky Joy Sour Crush Rolling Liquid Candy Bottles because the rolling ball on the bottles can detach, posing a risk of serious injury or death from choking hazard. No incidents have been reported. The recall was announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on September 10, 2026.
The recalled bottles contain 1.85 fluid ounce of sour liquid candy intended to be applied through the bottle's rollerball top. They were sold individually and in packs of three or 12 bottles per pack, in colors and flavors including blue (blue raspberry), red (strawberry), green (green apple), and pink (watermelon).
The bottles have the Ricky Joy logo, 'EXTREME SOUR,' 'SOUR CRUSH,' and the flavor name printed on the front, along with the image of a green monster.
They were sold at H-E-B, Forman Mill and other candy stores nationwide, and online at Walmart.com, CandyFunHouse.com, RickyJoy.com and other online retailers, from January 2023 through May 2026 for about $3 for the bottle and between $13 and $32 for the pack. The product was made in Colombia.
Consumers should stop using the candy bottles immediately, take them away from children, and contact The Ricky Joy Company for a refund. The company will provide a pre-paid shipping label to return the recalled product.
