Why it was recalled

The D-ring handle used to unlock the weight pocket from the Buoyancy Compensator Device (BCD) can detach during use, preventing the user from releasing the weights in an emergency. This failure poses a risk of serious injury or death from drowning. The affected weight pockets were sold in standard and mini sizes and eight colors, with "Monorail Weight System" printed on the bottom of the pocket.
