Qumeney Bicycle Light Sets

Qumeney bicycle light sets (models BL-01 and BL-02) are recalled due to a battery ingestion hazard that can cause serious injury or death.

What to do

Immediately stop using the recalled bicycle lights and keep them out of reach of children. Contact Smfanlus for instructions on how to disable the lights and dispose of them, or to receive a full refund. Consumers must cut the power cord in half and email a photo of the destroyed product to the firm to receive a refund.

Why it was recalled

The recalled bicycle light sets contain button cell batteries that are easily accessible to children, posing a risk of ingestion, internal chemical burns, and death. The products also fail to include required safety warnings under Reese's Law. The affected models are BL-01 and BL-02.
