Based Online is recalling Fidget Magnet Ball Toy Sets (4-pack, ~1.24" diameter) sold on Amazon Feb–Oct 2025 due to ingestion hazard from loose high-powered magnets.
Stop allowing children to use these magnet ball toys immediately. Retrieve the toy set and keep it away from children. Contact Based Online for a refund or replacement, or dispose of the product safely to prevent accidental ingestion.
Why it was recalled
The magnet ball toys violate the mandatory standard for toys because they are loose high-powered magnets, posing an ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, they can attract each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.
