What happened
Xiaofei He, doing business as Based Online, is recalling Based Online Fidget Magnet Ball Toys because the magnet ball toys violate the mandatory standard for toys, posing an ingestion hazard to children. The high-powered magnets can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system, which can cause serious injury or death. No incidents have been reported. The recall involves about 9,300 units.
The recalled toys are Based Online Fidget Magnet Ball Toy Sets, each containing four textured, silicone-covered magnet balls in white, yellow, blue and purple, each about 1.24 inches in diameter, stored in a black fabric zippered case. The toys have no identifying marks. They were sold online at Amazon.com from February 2025 through October 2025 for about $6. The products were made in China.
Consumers should stop using the recalled magnet ball toys immediately, take them away from children, and contact Based Online to receive a full refund.
