What happened

Guangzhou Aowei Technology Co., Ltd. dba Yolaah is recalling YOLAAH Portable Bed Rails because they violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails. When attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. No incidents have been reported. The recall was announced by the CPSC on January 8, 2026.

The recalled bed rails are model BR-01, with a black rubber hand grip, storage pocket, and white metal base.
