What happened

ZMC Group, Inc., of Los Angeles, California, is recalling multiple battery-operated light up toys because they violate the mandatory safety standard for children's toys. No incidents have been reported. About 124,560 units are affected.

The toys were imported from China and sold at various discount stores nationwide from May 2023 through April 2026 for about $1.

The recalled products include 19.4" Assorted Colors Light Up Stick, Light Up Halloween Wands, Light Up Halo Flower Headband, Light Up Devil Horns Headband, Light Up Polka Dot Bow Headband, LED Light Up Flying Disc, UFO Lite-Up Maraca, Light Up Yo-Yo, and Cardpack Flashing Whistle Necklace.

Packaging labels include the item number, distributor identification, place of manufacture, production date, and batch number.

Consumers should stop using the toys immediately, take them away from children, and contact ZMC Group for a full refund. Button cell batteries are hazardous and should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.
