Do not eat the recalled Alfalfa Sprouts. Discard them immediately or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. If you have consumed the product and experience symptoms such as bloody diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal cramps, contact your healthcare provider.
Why it was recalled
Everything Sprouts, LLC is recalling certain lots of Alfalfa Sprouts because they have the potential to be contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) and Salmonella. These bacteria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems.

Distributed in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
