What happened
Producers Cooperative Association recalled Double Down Deer Feed and Dewormer products on March 12, 2026, because the aflatoxin level in a lot of peanuts used to make certain feeds was found to be over the 300 ppb (362.5 ppb) allowed for use in any animal feed.
The recall covered products sold in Oklahoma and Texas, including Double Down Dewormer 50 lb Bags and Bulk for Antelope and Gazelle, Double Down Deer Feed 50 lb Bags, Double Down Bulk Deer Feed, and Double Down Pen & Pasture Deer Feed 50 lb Bags and Bulk. The FDA added the recall to its Enforcement Report on April 2, 2026, and classified it on May 12, 2026.
