SKS Copack of Cerritos, CA recalled various specialty beverages on May 6, 2026, because they may potentially be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

The products include Angel branded White Chocolate powder, Boba Time branded Coconut Powder, Fanale branded UBE-TARO powder, Angel branded Carmel Latte powder, Angel branded Horchata powder, Royal Gold branded Dutch Mocha Cappuccino powder, and Boba Time Branded Italain Yogurt Powder, among others.

The products were distributed to direct accounts in California, Utah, New York, Idaho, and New Jersey. The recall was announced by the company on May 22, 2026, and added to the FDA's Enforcement Report on May 29, 2026.
