What happened

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2026 AT Series vehicles. The turntable rotation bearing fasteners may not have been heat treated properly. A fastener that has not been heat treated could fail, resulting in separation of the pedestal and turntable, increasing the risk of injury. The recall affects 309 vehicles nationwide.

The issue was reported to NHTSA on July 17, 2026. Altec will instruct owners to inspect the lot number on the fasteners and, if necessary, order a rotation bolt kit to replace the fasteners, or schedule service with Altec, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 11, 2026.
