ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC (ARBOC) is recalling certain 2025 Spirit of Equess, 2026 Spirit of Freedom, Spirit of Independence, and Spirit of Mobility transit buses. The wheelchair restraint retractor may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured. An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

The recall affects 42 vehicles and was reported to the NHTSA on May 28, 2026. Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 25, 2026.
