Blue Bird is recalling 2026 Vision and All American buses with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints that may not lock.
If you operate or ride in a 2026 Blue Bird Vision or All American transit bus equipped with QRT-Deluxe or QRT-Max wheelchair restraints, contact Blue Bird Body Company immediately for inspection and repair of the retractor mechanism. Do not transport passengers in wheelchairs using affected restraints until the retractor has been inspected and repaired.

Why it was recalled
Blue Bird is recalling certain 2026 Vision and All American transit buses equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing wheelchairs from being properly secured during transit. An unsecured wheelchair can move and shift, increasing the risk of injury to passengers.
