Micro Bird is recalling 2026 G5 transit buses with wheelchair tie-downs that may not lock due to installation error.
What to do
Contact Micro Bird USA LLC immediately to have the wheelchair tie-down installation inspected and corrected. Do not operate the bus with wheelchair passengers until the tie-downs are verified to lock securely.
Why it was recalled
An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit or a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
