Why it was recalled
BMW is recalling certain 2026 228i Gran Coupe, 228i xDrive Gran Coupe, and M235i xDrive Gran Coupe vehicles due to rear lights that may not function properly, including taillights, brake lights, and rear turn signals. Improperly functioning rear lights increase the risk of a crash and fail to comply with FMVSS 108.
