
BMW K 1600 and Grand America Reverse Gear Control Unit
BMW is recalling 2017–2025 K 1600 GT/GTL/B and 2018–2025 Grand America motorcycles over reverse gear control unit overheating and fire risk.
Stop using the reverse gear immediately. Contact BMW of North America to schedule an inspection and seal replacement of the reverse gear control unit. Do not operate the vehicle in reverse until the repair is completed.

Why it was recalled
