What happened
Britax Child Safety, Inc. is recalling certain B-Safe Gen 2, B-Safe Gen 2 Flexfit, B-Safe Gen 2 Flexfit Plus, B-Safe 35, B-Safe Ultra, and Endeavours child seats. A screw in the child seat carrying handle may come loose, causing the handle to partially detach. A child may fall after a partial detachment, increasing the risk of injury.
The recall was reported to NHTSA on August 20, 2026, and owner notification letters were mailed September 30, 2026. The remedy is currently under development. The recall affects 114,660 units nationwide.
