Why it was recalled
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar side curtain air bags with part numbers 68224526AJ and 68224527AH due to improperly sealed seams that may result in insufficient pressure retention. The defective air bags fail to comply with FMVSS 226 and increase the risk of ejection and injury during a crash.
