Elgin Sweeper Company is recalling certain 2024-2026 Pelican vehicles equipped with Samsung SDI high voltage battery packs. The high voltage batteries may fail, and the defective batteries may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire. The recall affects 7 vehicles nationwide and was reported to NHTSA on June 24, 2026.
