Why it was recalled

Ford is recalling certain 2026 Ranger and Bronco vehicles because the tire placard and safety certification labels may contain incorrect vehicle specifications. These inaccuracies, which include VIN, weight capacity, seating capacity, axle weight ratings, tire and rim dimensions, and tire pressure, cause the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110. Improperly inflated tires or vehicle overloading can increase the risk of a crash.
