Ford Bronco Sport and Maverick Front Passenger Air Bag
Ford is recalling 2025–2026 Bronco Sport and Maverick vehicles; front passenger air bag may not deploy due to OCS sensor failure.
What to do
Contact Ford to schedule service for inspection and replacement of the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) unit. Do not drive the vehicle until the repair is completed.
Why it was recalled
Failure to correctly detect a passenger may result in the air bag not deploying as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
