
Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Roof Rail Air Bag Inflator
GM is recalling certain 2018-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra vehicles due to a risk of roof rail air bag inflator rupture or detachment.

Why it was recalled
General Motors is recalling certain 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, and 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 vehicles. The roof rail air bag inflator end cap may detach or the inflator sidewall may rupture, potentially projecting fragments into the vehicle and increasing the risk of injury.
