Why it was recalled
General Motors is recalling certain 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV vehicles because a manufacturing defect may cause the steel wheels to crack at the disc vent holes. A cracked wheel can lead to disc separation and loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
