GM is recalling 2026 Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC 4WD/AWD vehicles and certain 2015–2020 models due to a missing transfer case component that may cause wheel lockup.
Do not drive the vehicle. Contact General Motors immediately to schedule service for inspection and repair of the transfer case component.

Why it was recalled
General Motors is recalling certain 2026 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, and Tahoe, and GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles with 4WD or AWD, as well as certain 2015–2020 Suburban, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Tahoe vehicles. A missing component in the drivetrain transfer case may cause the front and/or rear wheels to lock up without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.
