Why it was recalled

Gillig is recalling certain 2023–2026 Low Floor transit buses due to a high voltage cable connecting the inverter to the drive unit that contains a splice connection reducing amp capacity. The reduced capacity may cause the cable to overheat, increasing fire risk. Contact Gillig for inspection and cable replacement.
