What happened
Holley Performance Products is recalling certain Replacement Carburetors and Throttle body kits, including the Holley STREET AVENGER CARBURETOR, because the secondary vacuum throttle levers may be undersized, possibly causing interference with the primary/secondary shaft and leading to a loss of throttle control. A loss of throttle control increases the risk of a crash. The recall affects 4,496 units nationwide.
The issue was reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on August 17, 2026. Holley will work with owners to replace the carburetors, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on October 15, 2026.
