Why it was recalled
Honda is recalling certain 2024 Acura ZDX and Prologue vehicles due to a software error that may cause the instrument panel display to fail, preventing critical safety information such as the speedometer and warning lights from displaying. Additionally, a software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse, reducing rear visibility. Both defects increase the risk of crash or injury.
