What happened
Couture Co Ltd is recalling certain Hyperax Volt RV 4x bike carriers. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated that vibrations may cause the anchoring plates to fail, allowing the carrier or bike to detach from the recreational vehicle or trailer. A detached carrier or bike can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
The recall affects 160 units distributed nationwide. The issue was reported to NHTSA on February 13, 2026. Couture will provide full reimbursement, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 6, 2026.
