Isuzu is recalling 2025–2027 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward and Isuzu NRR vehicles over improperly secured wire harnesses that may chafe, causing engine stall, brake failure, or fire.

Why it was recalled

Isuzu Motors Limited is recalling certain 2025–2027 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 5500XD, 4500XD, and 4500HD models, as well as 2025–2027 Isuzu NRR, NPR HD, NPR XD, and 2025–2026 Isuzu NRR EV vehicles. The chassis and/or cab wire harnesses may chafe against metal components, causing harness failure that can result in engine stall, brake light failure, or parking brake failure. Damaged wires may also melt, increasing the risk of fire.
