Why it was recalled
Lucid USA, Inc. is recalling certain 2024–2026 Air vehicles equipped with Pure Rear-Wheel Drive due to improperly secured bolts that may allow the half-shaft to disconnect from the drive unit. A disconnected half-shaft can result in loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
