What happened
Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2027 Jayco Eagle, Eagle SLE, and Heartland Sundance fifth wheel trailers because the auto leveling jacks may be lowered during transit. Activation of the jacks during transit increases the risk of a crash. The recall affects 137 vehicles nationwide.
Reported to NHTSA on August 6, 2026. Dealers will install a jumper wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 20, 2026.
