Why it was recalled

Jerr-Dan is recalling certain XLP Carrier kits because the reverse and brake light assemblies may be installed in the incorrect location, with the wrong color, or with an incorrect number of lights. This non-compliance with FMVSS 108 can reduce vehicle visibility and fail to alert other drivers during braking, turning, or reversing, increasing the risk of a crash.
