
Land Rover and Jaguar DC-DC Converter
Jaguar Land Rover is recalling certain 2019–2024 Range Rover, Discovery, F-Pace, and E-Pace models due to DC-DC converter failure causing loss of drive power and lighting.
Contact Jaguar Land Rover North America to schedule service for inspection and replacement of the DC-DC converter. Do not drive the vehicle if you experience a loss of power or exterior lighting.
Why it was recalled
Jaguar Land Rover is recalling certain 2019–2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar, Discovery, Discovery Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover, and Defender, as well as 2021–2024 Jaguar F-Pace and 2021–2022 Jaguar E-Pace mild-hybrid electric vehicles. The DC-DC converter can fail due to an internal fault in the boost control microchip, resulting in loss of 12-volt system charging, complete loss of drive power, and loss of exterior lighting, increasing crash risk.
