Why it was recalled
Mack Trucks is recalling certain 2022–2027 TerraPro trucks due to an engine control unit (ECU) software error that may allow the engine to start when the transmission is not in Neutral. Starting the vehicle while in gear may cause unexpected vehicle movement, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
