Mack TerraPro Engine Control Unit Software
Mack is recalling 2022–2027 TerraPro trucks; ECU software may allow engine start in gear, risking unexpected movement.
What to do
Stop driving the affected vehicle and contact Mack Trucks immediately to schedule a software update. Do not attempt to start the engine unless the transmission is in Neutral.
Why it was recalled
Starting the vehicle while in gear may cause unexpected vehicle movement, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
