Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2024 Rizon FEC7K (E16), FEC9K (E18), and 2025 FECXK (E18) trucks. While idling, the electrical control unit may transmit an error that prevents the truck from being driven. A vehicle that is unable to move as needed, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall was reported to NHTSA on March 5, 2026, and affects 244 vehicles nationwide.

Dealers will reprogram battery management system and DC-Box software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 30, 2026.
