Why it was recalled
Nissan is recalling certain 2026 Kicks and Sentra vehicles due to insufficiently welded hook brackets on the front seat frames, which may cause the seats to become loose. A loose seat may not restrain occupants as intended, increasing injury risk during a crash. The affected vehicles fail to comply with FMVSS 207 and 210 seating and seat belt anchorage standards.
